A Fae PartyA few Fae creatures gather and quietly begin to throw a party in hilly area of the garden. It's a wonderful site and a very sweet and joyous experience for all in attendance.

"You only go as far as your imagination."
Re: A Fae PartyKae'saryn took another drink from the silver goblet in his hand, then turned toward the dryad at his right. With his blurred vision, he couldn't really distinguish her face, but he was pretty sure it was Tes. He also couldn't really see that she was still half way inside her tree, embarrassed by his attention.
"So, then I told her, 'It's Samhain! You've got nothing to worry about... And she said to me," he stammered, only to be interrupted. "Pardon me, my lord," said another dryad, this one standing outside of her tree and near to Kae'saryn's left side. "But I believe you've already told us this glorious tale." She giggled slightly, and others laughed more loudly, but the Fey noble was too far gone to realize that the jest was at his expense. Taking it as simply more of the day's merriment, he nodded sagely and took another drink of the wine. "Quite right, my child. You're a smart one. Jesalie, is it?" The dryad nodded, surprised the noble could even recognize her in his condition. "You remind me of your mother, you know. She's always taken good care of this glade - almost as old as I am, you know, but not quite." "Noone is quite as old as you are, Kae," teased a nymph, coming close. "But enough talk, my lord. There are other ways to celebrate the season..." The Fey lord grinned slightly, then promptly fell asleep where he stood. Several other fey stared at him briefly, but after a moment they were unable to contain their laughter. As Kae'saryn slumbered, the party continued.
Re: A Fae PartyTeslen had finally pried herself from the tree to sit beside the sleeping form of Lord Kae'saryn. As he slept, the dryad smiled softly and braided his hair, whispering a hymn to the spirits of Féile na Marbh.
Around the pair, the festivities continued. Like Kae'saryn, the other fey nobles looked almost out of place among the gathered fey, their beautiful necklaces and goblets of metal seeming foreign among the more bestial dryads and nymphs of the glade. Still, the creatures of the forest mingled well enough together, trading stories and songs in their native tongue.
Re: A Fae PartyAs time passes, a group of humans stumbles upon the group of Fey and the ongoing feast. The mischievous Fey swiftly ask the humans to join them for food and drink. Enthralled by the beauty of the Fey, the mortals join in the festivities, finding the Fey drink surprisingly potent. They begin to exchange their own meager traveling rations and ale with the dryads, nymphs, and the other creatures present at the peaceful gathering. While the elder fey merely look on and enjoy the spectacle, the younger fey and humans begin to interact more and more, at first seeming to enjoy each others company.
Re: A Fae PartyKierawyn peers out shyly from behind a huge oak a short distance away from the gardens, a small doe at her side. She watches the celebration, silent and entranced.
Re: A Fae PartyAs Kierawyn watches the festivities, the humans and Fey grow more intoxicated. The humans seem to be convincing the Fey to consume much more alcohol than they can handle, however, and many of the dryads and nymphs simply fall asleep after consuming too much drink. The party continues with several games, and the humans even convince some of the Fey to gamble. From Kierawyn's perspective, it seems like the humans might be trying to cheat the Fey out of some of their possessions. Nevertheless, everyone does seem to be enjoying the party for the moment.
Re: A Fae PartyKierawyn watches the antics for some time. She feels a slight sense of indignation, but can't quite pinpoint why. "I have no real love for the humans - bludering sods. But then again, I have no real love for the fey either - flighty and boisterous, no real substance"
She turns heel and stalks off into the forest, unseen. </exit>
Re: A Fae PartyAfter Kierawyn's departure, the humans continue to grow rowdier, while more and more of the Fey succumb to the effects of the alcohol. As it becomes obvious that the humans are trying to take advantage of some of the Fey in their inebriated state, a small group of the Fey depart from the party, leaving behind their clothes as they leave. The festivities begin to slowly die down as more and more Fey vanish into the forests.
