Rondar and his Astounding Fez will be there.
A warrior priest and a pacifist priest walk into a keep. The warrior priest says "Get out of my way" and the pacifist priest says "no." ...and there's no punchline.

Woot, I'm there!
And what do you mean "Bint dressed like a Lich"? Bint IS a Lich!
Trust those Wizards who are thin and fine drawn. Mighty muscles, ruddy cheeks, and genial dispositions bespeak Wizards who when Apprentices and young men sneaked out to play instead of applying themselves to long days over hot crucibles and long nights pouring over scrolls, tomes, tablets, and tracts.

Player Characters The expression on their face when they realize they've screwed up, almost makes it worth it.

The Halloween Tournaments... what Ira is planning for Friday Laroux will arrive on site to celebrate the Halloween season! Encouraging people to come up with contests and be merry for all! Through unique powers of control, and some ritualistic energies created beyond realms even HE understands he has protected the Wyrd Friday night. Hence no surprise combat (the tournaments are combat) is likely to occur Friday. Thoseasking Laroux about Darnog will forget the last conversation they had with him, he doesn't want to hear it. Five Contests, Non-Coms may freely participate in these. NPCs can participate in all tournaments except #4 (need NPCs for #4) 1) The honorable duel - signups required. Those who fight shall fight to three touches. Simultaneous touches count on both parties unless it is the winning blow. Double elimination tournament will ensue. Leaving the combat circle is instant loss. First Prize: A quality upgrade on any weapon or armor from Laroux.
2) The infinite battle Using all abilities you have kill or be killed. If you are killed you turn to stone until the person who killed you dies. When you return to life all your abilities have been restored. If everyone but you is frozen, you win. This is one of the best ways to get combat practice. First Prize: A medallion granting the bearer 10 additional energy once per day.
3) The magius tournament - sign ups required Using all magical abilities mages will be forced to duel each other. Mages will have their abilities fully restored after each combat. Combatants are chosen randomly from all mages. First Prize: A medallion granting the bearer 10 additional energy once per day.
4) The Trick or Treat Quest Three teams are formed, each lead by a noble. (Miniver, Syllrae, Elaine). Team members may choose ONE additional person to be on their team, the rest of the PC are chosen randomly per team. Teams will then randomly be assigned one of three plot members (Ira, Fei, Beth). They will they be sent on a quest that is identical in nature for each team. The teams collectively on game day can choose if they want to aim to get through the quest and be scored based on speed (lower difficulty) or on how many of their team mates survive (much higher difficulty). First Prize: 30 Gold in Coin divided evenly among the winning team
5) The recipe creation contest In all the world's madness creativity is the name of the game. Laroux will be on hand to encourage crafters to attempt to come up with creative recipes all evening. Laroux will narrow the ideas down to the Top 3 choices. You do not need skill in crafting to come up with the recipe. Give him your ideas written down all night, he will comment and make suggestions as the night progresses. Top 3 Choices: Winners instantly learn their recipes Top Winner: Receives enough ingredients to make their recipe twice, plus gets a finished version on the spot. Event 6 Capture the Flag Likely to Replace Event 4. See rules in rules section.
Honorary Prize to To the person who creates the most outrageous and insane item that Ira would actually allow created in the game... but didn't win because it was too outrageous. Wins: One of Laroux Legendary Alchemies
Ira is sole judge jury and executioner, and may adjust these simplified rules if needed on all contests. Other: Although not really a contest undead are wandering around the graveyard... it's Halloween of course they are. Do you party with them? Or kill them? All they want is... We encourage players to loot bodies by saying 'trick or treat' this weekend. Opportunities to make your own quest, tournament, or other are welcome. PM me and I'll add it in to the festivities. A potential quiz show where if you answer the right question you get a prize!

...a hug? These contests sound really fun. I'll be looking forward to this. 2) The infinite battle - Anyone in camp plays automatically if in game Using all abilities you have kill or be killed. If you are killed you turn to stone until the person who killed you dies. When you return to life all your abilities have been restored. If everyone but you is frozen, you win. First Prize: A medallion granting the bearer 10 additional energy once per day.
A game of Statues with the whole Wyrd? I expect this will end when most of us die of exhaustion.

Infinite Battle is more of an endurance run in many ways.
I think it will be fun though.
Originally there were two infinite battles, I concluded that was madness.
