Wyrd Con Skill Point Benefit

As I announced at the Infestation Event today there is a hefty experience benefit gained for Pre-Registering for Wyrd Con, and purchasing a hotel room.

I was in error about the amount of experience points you can potentially earn, it's higher than I stated previously.

Skill Points you can get: 45


Registering a room prior to December grants these skill points instantly.

The points are granted to person booking the room, if you are boarding with someone only the person who has the room in their name gets the points.

Help support this endeavor and pre-register asap!

If you have any questions on how this works don't hesitate to contact me.


    For those of you who need the detail breakdown the points come from:

    14: The total skill points gained for attending Wyrd Con
    18: Total partner skill points earned in 2009 (if you earned some points for partner events already, sadly we can't give more than 18 a year).
    13: Some of the partner skill points gained in 2010.

Where do we register?

I don't see any place on the website to do that. I only see a front page with a really cool logo.

Since I am still a little new to this....

1) Do we need to send proof of pre reg and if so who do we send it to?

2) How do we record the earned skill points in our character logs?

For the hotel registration? An email telling me you did it will suffice, although I will actually verify it from hotel records eventually.

You gain the xp instantly and record it in your character log.

As an fyi, if you didn't get a hotel room you get 14 skill points for attending the convention. But only if you do not claim the previous bonus of 40+ skill points.
